- EDMONTON - Picnic in the Park -
- WETASKEWIN - Car Show -


We Start out at Tim's North
imbibing sustenance for the long day's drive

Then off north to Saskatoon

We meet up the a crew of 10 cars from Saskatoon at ... where else ... Tim's

Then back on the road with the whole gaggle of us heading north-west to Loydminister

Ron from Loydminister and his good wife
invited the whole crew to a bar be que in his lovely back yard
complete with television news camera for our arrival

Then off (sort of) from Loydminister to our final destination for the evening ... rainy Edmonton

To Victoria Park where we gather with other like minded enthusiasts for

Luckily the weatherman was 100% wrong
the predicted rain stayed away and we had a lovely day!

A few of us headed to the Air Museum

Then back to the hotel for Fish 'n Chips 'n Beer

To Leduc to meet up with the Edmonton group

Then on to Wetaskewin for the Car Show

Unfortunately, it was cold and wet, so we spent most of the time in the museum

Then to the Canadian Aviation Hall of Fame

Then onwards to Camrose for our evening's accommodation

On to Saskatoon via the No.13 and home

I'm not sure if we were off course, but we managed to stumble upon the centre of the British Empire

In Saskatoon we paid a visit to the Jaguar dealership

Then it was off to a secretive garage called "The Toy Box" where an E-Type was under full restoration

The final leg of our journey ... home !
